About the Founder

Dylan is a history teacher, public school advocate, and the founder of Schoolhouse & Statecraft. With a professional background rooted deep in the trenches of history and civics education, Dylan has spent his career helping the next generation understand the foundational narratives and constitutional frameworks that shape our society.

As a classroom teacher and a dedicated advocate for public systems, Dylan views education through a lens of institutional health and community responsibility. His unique perspective blends the analytical rigor of historical research with a practical, solutions-oriented approach to public policy, aiming to unite communities around the shared goal of educational excellence.

Dylan founded Schoolhouse & Statecraft to move past the noise of short-term political cycles and offer a constructive, long-term framework for our public schools. He believes that the schoolhouse and the statehouse are permanently linked—and that by restoring institutional health, protecting freedom of conscience, and supporting our educators, we can ensure our public schools fulfill their ultimate promise: helping individuals flourish and sustaining a healthy republic.

Dylan resides in Florida with his wife and their two daughters.
